धर्मादित्य पत्रकारिता पुरस्कार

बौद्ध विद्वान, अग्रज बौद्ध अभियन्ता एवं प्रथम मातृभाषा पत्रकार धर्मादित्य धर्माचार्यको नाममा स्थापित पुरस्कार धर्मादित्य पत्रकारिता पुरस्कार (२०२५) मलाई प्राप्त भएको छ । नेवाः पत्रकार राष्ट्रिय दबू ९ललितपुर शाखा० द्वारा स्थापित र प्रत्येक वर्ष प्रदान गरिन्छ । धर्मादित्य धर्माचार्यले भारतको कलकत्ताबाट “बौद्ध धर्म व नेपालभाषा” म्यागेजिन प्रकाशित गर्नुभएको एक शताब्दी भएको छ । यस बीचमा नेपालमा बौद्ध धर्म र नेपालभाषाले धेरै कोल्टे फेरिसकेको छ र प्रत्येक कोल्टे फेराई प्रगतिउन्मुख नै साबित भयो । जुन व्यक्तित्वको पदचाप पछ्याउँदै हिडिरहेको छु उनकै नाममा स्थापित पुरस्कार ग्रहण गर्न पाउनु मेरो लागि विशेष कुरा हो । नेपालभाषामा मेरो पत्रकारिता २०५२ सालमा विश्वभूमि दैनिकबाट भएको हो ।

I have been honored with the Dharmaditya Journalism Award (2025), established in the name of Buddhist scholar, senior Buddhist activist, and the first mother-tongue journalist Dharmaditya Dharmacharya. This award is founded and presented annually by the Lalitpur Branch of the Newa Patrakar Rastriya Daboo (National Organization of Newar Journalists).

It has been a century since Dharmaditya Dharmacharya began publishing the magazine “Buddha Dharma wa Nepal Bhasa” from Calcutta, India. In the meantime, both Buddhism and the Nepal Bhasa language in Nepal have undergone many transformations, each of which has proven to be progressive.

It is a special honor for me to receive an award named after the very figure whose footsteps I have been following. My journalistic journey in Nepal Bhasa began in 2052 B.S. (1995 A.D.) with the Vishwabhoomi Daily.
