“Autobiography of Gautam Buddha” has been published for the first time in the history of Buddhist literature.


Journalist and researcher Basanta Maharjan collected, translated and edited the most important incidents of the life articulated by Buddha himself, in the first person pronoun, and presented the book in Nepali script.
The book also encompasses some contents from the religious scripture, ‘Tripitak’, which is the comprehensive compilation of Buddhist philosophy.
Researcher Maharjan has simultaneously brought out the biographical book entitled “Gautam Buddha”. It is based on the aforementioned autobiography and other scriptures.
Various new dimensions and facts about the life of Gautam Buddha have been brought into the limelight with the publication of these two books released by Insight Publication. (RSS)
