A book on archaeological and historical perspective on Lumbini was released in Kathmandu on Saturday. The research book, “Lumbini: A Historical and Archaeological Study” by journalist Basanta Maharjan was released by Prof. Dr. Tulsi Ram Vaidya of Lumbini Buddha University.
Scholars such as Department Chief at the Central Department of Culture and Archeology at Tribhuvan University Prof. Dr. Mukunda Raj Aryal, Executive Director at Centre for Nepal and Asian Studies of TU Prof. Nirmal Man Tuladhar, Archaeologist Sukra Sagar Shrestha, who has written the preface of the book and author Basanta Maharjan highlighted about different aspects of the book.
In the 171 page book, the author has presented various facts that put to rest any doubt about various issues related to Lumbini. The book is published by basami.com
